I just recently "upgraded" from an Intel x48 bonetrail board to an Asus P6T board. Normally; I'd have gotten another Intel board like the x58SO; however, the P6T had the 775 mounting holes so I could reuse my Apogee Drive cpu block. Anyway; I can't enable the ICH10R raid on this board. When I select [RAID] in the bios; it defaults to my add-in XOR raid card which runs my raptor gamming raid config. For some reason in RAID; I cannot select my "boot" drive - the Samsung 1TB drive. I need both the ICH10R and the Promise Raid card to function together so I can re-enable my 1TB data Raid config and boot from the Samsung drive. Would updating/modding the ICH Raid rom in the bios restore the functionality of both cards? I couldn't find a clear answer in the threads I scanned tonight. Thoughts?
