Hi all modders ! I'm posting in this forum because next to a flash of a Packard Bell Easynote MX51, i got the keyboard acting very strange // unusable. For example : when i press a key it write down another one completely different. When i saw this, i thought ... Let's revert back to the previous original BIOS ... right ... errrrr ... in fact "NO" ! For doing the revert flash i had to connect an USB keyboard which worked well. After seeing that reverting back to the previous original BIOS, the keyboard wasn't working too, i'm feeling a little confused Does someone knows where does this problem could be coming from ? PS : I verified the on-board keyboard connection on the laptop motherboard too ... even if it was clear that the problem wasn't coming from here. BTW, thanks for any suggestions !
Please help !!!! Hi everybody ! Please someone help me with this damn problem on these horribles packard bell ! I just never encountered this kind of problem (and hope not to in the future ...) ! I tried quite everything, please help !!! !!!! Thanks !!!!
Maybe this may sound like a retarded question but I'm asking it anyway: are some of the keys writing numbers? Have you checked that NUM BLOCK is disabled?
bios mx51 needed Hi, usually keyboard problems after update happens if you use an incorect bios version, or a bios not designed exactly for the specific type of machine you have. i cannot tell you why after you revert to original version the keyboard problem does not correct itself. there is a reduced possibility of a keyboard problem, without any write down another. after i replace the keyboard it works fine. you should test with another keyboard, if you can find one just for this test. can you help me with your original bios program, if you make a backup before flashing yours? i have problem with my mx51, i need to rewrite the bios (it is erased/defective, so i shoul desolder it and rewrite it on a machine) i have all the equipament needed for this, the only missing thing is the bios program itself. what i found on packard bell site is an .exe working from vista, it does not help me. Thanks
