hi all I need help in finding a x86 vista home basic oem for Packard bell I have a retail copy of vista ultimate but for some reason when I install it I cant activate it using the produckt key for the home basic I install selecting home basic which it does but wont activate using the original oem product key my theory is it needs the oem vista disk to work, so if anyone can point me in the right direction would be really appreciated
Have you read the Vista "Stickys" section? Lots of stuff there on OEM SLP keys and OEM Sources. Should be something there to get you going.
