Pagefile and Swapfile - Why Both?

    Perhaps somebody knows why there is both a Pagefile and a Swapfile in Windows 8?

    It's not correct, 100.
    hiberfil.sys = hybridstart and sleep
    pagefile.sys = pagefile
    swapfile = Windows 8 Apps "pagefile".

    So since i dont use metro apps, i can delete the swapfile? :eek:

    You can try it. But its only 260MB It's not worth !?

    Try to disable the normal pagefile. Does this also disable this new one?
