Holy Jesus, they are going to kill all good reminded in Windows 10. I guess they will end with NO desktop apps bundled with Windows 10 out of the box.
Another useless app? They want to gut their main OS for the sake of a mobile OS even MS staff don't care about.
IMHO, Windows 10 Store's app is not as mature as Desktop apps. They need more development iterations.
Sure thing, removing "bloat" and replacing it with crippled s**t unusable on desktop is the "modern" way. Look at WMP vs. the Groove joke; that's exactly what's gonna happen with mspaint.exe. Heck, they even managed to screw the calculator.
well, from microsoft desktop apps i am only actively using task manager, regedit, notepad, explorer and command prompt and until that is removed i dont mind them removing anything other
People saying "desktop bloat" should open their blind eyes and see the disk space occupied and note the startup time for Modern CRAP. Desktop bloat. LOL.
Good Riddance, there's far better third party freeware apps that you could use in place for ms crapware they include.
Just lovely how people call this app crap without even trying. Heck, for what it seems like, the new Paint app has far more options than the old one.
