Is there an equivalent for "bios440.filename" for Parallels 5, or any way to edit the binary to include modded bios?
I'm looking for this as well... I really would like this so that I can compare the new Parallels with Fusion
Come on is it really that hard we already have bios mods availiable for VM-Ware, MS virtual PC and MS Virtual Machine , Getting there with VirtualBox now someone is asking about Parallels why oh why when we have MS it is free and VirtualBox almost done, Half the problem is not doing the mod it is to do with elua's and should i say reverse engineering
From the Parallels 4, when you mod the file, ie: the prl_client_app file, it will tell you "you have to reinstall parallels" (because some checksum was wrong back then when I mod the DMI string for SLP 1.0 -- I didn't use it now since there is the "Genuine" method). but you can leave the error popup (ie: don't press ok), and then still start the VMs
Hi guys about parallels desktop and mac, If i install windows 7 and i use removewat do you think it can be working Thanks for answers
Parallels 5 SLIC BIOS ive read a similar thread with no useful information. can anyone tell me how to get OSX86 to work on winxp using parallels?
Forget it! You might get OSX working inside Vmware Workstation, but I would rather do it on a REAL hardware (and then use can use Parallels Desktop 5 to run Windows XP virtualized) sebus
Hmm, this is a good idea for some machines that can't run OSX, ie: Notebook with Nvidia 6150 built in video card...
