Parental Controls without MS accounts ?

    Is there a way to get back the parental controls of windows 8 or an alternative ?

    I don't like the idea of having to create MS account to enable parental controls or any other company online account.
    I want a local PC solution where I can control the apps, and the timings of use in particular.
    And no annual subs etc.

    I already took a look at that article. The no. 1 app seems decent and I might give it a shot.
    I'm hoping it's standalone local install and not requiring some online account creation etc.

    Ideally i was hoping someone has miraculously figured out a way to bring back the Windows 8 parental system or created a clone of it.
