If you are trying to flash same bios (Phoenix ) version getting error or while flashing bios with WinPhlash you are getting " Part Table Signature not found in the Interface. " error : 1) Firstly don't use 1.6.1.1 WinPhlash version or olders. Use 1.6.6.0 or lastest versions for windows. - Or you can download your laptops lastest bios from internet. Example: I download toshiba notebook p200d lastest bios update. (BIOS_V170_Win.exe ) . Then I run bios " BIOS_V170_Win.exe " (It use WinPhlash as you know) and get same bios error. After I goto folder " C:\Windows\Temp\WINPHLASH " and coppied WINPHLASH folder my desktop. Because it is newer than 1.6.1.1 . 2) Open WINPHLASH folder and edit PHLASH.INI as this " Advanced=1 " and save . Default is: --------------- [UI] Advanced=0 [Main] Shutdown=1 RetryCount=3 UpdateMode=3 FormatVersion=2 UpdateFlags=5129a6 UserFlags=5121a4 UserMask=d121a4 PSIFlags=0 UserMode=ffffffff BackupFile=bios.bak ImageFile=BIOS.rom ----------------------------- modified: [UI] Advanced=1 [Main] Shutdown=1 RetryCount=3 UpdateMode=3 FormatVersion=2 UpdateFlags=5129a6 UserFlags=5121a4 UserMask=d121a4 PSIFlags=0 UserMode=ffffffff BackupFile=bios.bak ImageFile=BIOS.rom ----------------- 3) Run WinPhlash.exe as administrator 4) Click " advanced settings " 5) Remove thicks on " flash only if bios version is different " and " flash only if bios version is newer than system " 6) Click browse to select bios and Flash bios. (now you can flash older bios versions and newers.) I flashed same bios and flashed my modded bios with no error .
