Does anyone remember which was the last version that did NOT include network manager and had wicd in its place?
I am personally abandoning Parted Magic, it changed a lot since this last release, thank you everyone that helped through the years for a shared ISO. Stay safe!
Can you suggest an alternative? I tried system rescue cd years ago but it was inferior to parted magic.
Nice. It would be nicer though if it included all 4 isos of 2020 instead of some old isos that were released 3-4 years ago.
A new version of parted magic was released yesterday. I just got the iso from a ddl site. In case anyone wants to compare, these are the sums (md5, sha1 and sha256 respectively). Kinda offtopic, but I have to ask. As someone who does not speak/write in asian languages (korean, japanese, chinese etc), allow me a question. Is fcitx such a major component for someone that does? I think it is completely useless even for other everyday distros and that one can istall it seperately if he wishes.

Is anyone using parted magic with ventoy? I used it for the very first time today and it failed to boot. I am now waiting for a friend to bring me his laptop so as to try it there too. However, on the site's page, parted magic is listed as a supported distro, although it mentions an older version (2020-02-23) was the one that they tested.
Thank you for the feedback. I tried it on my friend's laptop and ir booted as usual. It is an amd a9 cpu + apu. So either nouveau really hates my gpu or my front panel usb ports are to blame. I would bet on nouveau, because I use the front panel usbs weekly to transfer files on that same usb stick that has ventoy on.
First parted magic of 2021 today, 2021_02_28. No sums etc yet, but I will post them as soon as I find the iso.
