i noticed after installing Windows 7 RTM,that Windows xp System partition (C:) became D: and Windows 7 logical boot partition became C:... WTF??and this didnt happen to me with the RC build. Also, under windows xp this doesnt happen, and the partitions are correctly appointed. And because of this, not any loaders works for me. Help please?

The currently running OS will also show itself running on C:
If you switch back to XP, XP will be on C:

When installing by boot from DVD, system partition always becomes C. When i install from any loaded Windows OS, using setup.exe, assigned letters of system partition, which i install win7 on, and of other partitions are saved as it was in initial OS: C, D, E, F, etc.

It helps me to name the partitions so I don't screw myself over.

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

if you don't use setup to deploy the install.wim file it won't rename the partitions either.
