When Windows 8.1 installs it sets the boot menu to Windows 8.1 whether it is a Core, Pro or Enterprise addition. This is confusing when you have multiple instances of Windows 8.1. The only way to change it is to use Easybcd which screws up boot menu for UEFI system(Forces menupolicy to legacy and cannot change back). Is there a way to change the Windows 8.1 install so that it puts the edition as the description in boot menu instead of just Windows 8.1 for all editions?
Bootcfg on Windows 8.1 doesn't have same options as Windows XP or Windows Server 2003. BCDedit is tool for most changes to BCD.
