    Hi

Over the last 3 years I have used Passmark Performance Test first on win XP then on windows 7 32 bit and just recently on windows 7 64 bit

It has always worked well for me as guide to how my PC is performing giving consistent results.

Since installing windows 7 ultimate x64 and Downloading and installing the 64 bit version of performance test i keep getting 3D graphics results that are all over the show

I can run the test straight after its self and get a result that is one third different from each other

    My PC is running great

Has anyone else experienced anything similar ?

And what is the general opinion on Performance test ?

    Thanks

    Steve

Something else i have noticed !!

my pc is a lenovo core2 duo E6550 with 3 gig of ram

When i had 32bit windows xp installed according to PPT i had 384 MB of system allocated memory for Q35 chipset graphics
Since installing win7 64 bit according to PPT i only have 256 MB of system allocated memory

I have checked in the bios and it says that 384 MB is allocated yet in system info and PPT it only says 256 MB

How can i edit this and increase the memory allocated?

It seems strange to me that the bios says one thing and PPT says another

    Any Ideas ?

System info is also showing 256MB its a shame i don't still have my XP image i could have restored and checked that

It must be something to do with win7 as my bios is set to max DVMT (384MB)
