I'm working on a hack to add more Menu options to a Phoenix TC Bios.

I have the TEMPLAT0.ROM I'd like to use, however PBE seems to hold the STRINGS0.ROM in Ram, and replacing the file in the TEMP DIR does no good.

I'm hopeful someone here could point me in the correct direction.

I did find This Post by Yen[Can't post Links yet]

Some I assume the tools to do this are around.

    Yen?

I'm in luck as the STRINGS0.ROM I need to use is smaller than the one it will replace, so I should be able to pad it as above?

Am I correct in also assuming that STRINGS0.ROM has Pointers to the BIOSCODX.ROM?

    Thanks

I'm not so sure about ur issues since i modded my STRINGS0.ROM and reintegrated with no issue at all and no need to compress either. What is the STRINGS0.ROM anyway? I changed the dedicated video memory amount from 128MB to 1024MB and have yet to test it since my vga bios are corrupt and now my system won't boot. Just waiting on a 2gb thumb drive to use Crisis recovery since my 4gb drive doesn't work...
