PC not detects HDD

    Hello friends here,

    I need help from you mates:

    Yesterday, my friend beg me to install a windows to his PC, there was installed windows 7 ultimate before, i set boot priority to boot first from DVDROM, after i choose language after push on NEXT click, after when pop up next directory where i have to choose a drive which have to format first run installation after on that drive, there was only one drive with size 3.9GB, of course there was not possible to install a windows 7. After i open a case and change HDD cable to the another port but same didnot helped.

    what is problem? what should be reason of it? Please help me.

    In the bios, change AHCI to IDE mode and try again. If your HDD still doesn't show up, then your HDD might have failed.

    Or is from damaged motherboard like was hapen to me in the past.
