Can anyone help me with this error? I cannot get any OS to load beyond start up. XP setup freezes on 'starting windows'; ubuntu live CD freezes after start selection (use ubuntu without any changes or install). UBCD 5 beta system test from navaril reports above error. I have updated the bios with no effect. I've looked at the table using phoenix bios editor and i can't figure out how to read it.. Can I zero it out and let machine rebuild it or am i way off base? I'm willing to try anything at this point - the machine has been unusable for 2+ years now. I did remove the wireless pci card but i wouldn't think that would be an issue. Here's the specifics: HP Pavilion ZV6000 (board reports ZV6100) Bios f.1c I've dl'd the SLIC modded Bios from the vista forum but haven't flashed it yet. HP has escalated my problem but i haven't heard from them yet. Thanks in Advance for any help...
