Can anyone tell me if I can use an Intel Pentium 4 (3.4Ghz) 478N socket in a 478 socket? I have an Asus P4P800-e Deluxe 478 socket MoBo. Thank You....
That board is getting a little long in the tooth. Watch those capacitors. I recently lost a socket 478 board because of swollen caps. Of course it was an Intel board so yours may last another 10 more years.
Personally, I think you'll be choked too much by attempting to use a single core chip with anything like Windows 7, 8.1 or 10, Like Bat stated....it'll run slow
Hey Man, Bat can usually boot up in less than three minutes With a 2x1GB Matched set of DDR 400 RAM prolly make it in under 2 1/2 Bat got a Asian Fetish but also pretty much any Latino, Island type, dark skinned Young girls Just not into blondes. Cost too much to maintain in makeup and stuff
