    Hi All,

This little problem just started. I'm using Firefox 3.6 on Win7 Home Premium x64 and have my "Desktop" designated as my default download directory. For some reason, the DL will almost complete then this box pops up saying "the contents cannot be changed". I can overcome it by right-clicking on C:\Users and then "Take Ownership" (which I already have) and the files then saves OK. But I end up having to do this repeatedly and I don't recall changing any settings that could affect this. It previously worked normal since installing Win7 back in 04/2010. Is there a permanent fix? And WTF caused this to start happening?

I can't really knock MS, as every iteration of windows has been an improvement since my first (3.0) install, but the file system has become WAAAAY overcomplicated. They really need to make a separate "home user" edition that doesn't have all the "rocket scientist" crap embedded into it...

    TIA!

    Russ
