I am trying to dump the complete bios of a Packard-Bell EasyNote LJ61 so that i can get a SLIC 2.1 added.

Is there a easy way to do this, as there are no bios files i know of out there to get modded.

    Or is this impossible?

I have tried Winphlash, but it refuses to flash the modded file

As it has been said many, many, many , etc..times before; You cannot flash a Phoenix bios dump. Backup doesn't not work for these.

    Sorry....

Dell bioses use phoenix, you download an update from the dell website, modify the update file and then use it to reflash with the mod in. Have you tried a similar approach?

I believe 911medic is right. The problem is that there are no bioses available for the machine, if there were, i could easily just get the bios file modded and flash right, but no bios files are available, so thats the problem.
