Hey All, Have a compaq f730us with the infamous bios whitelisting for mini pci wireless cards. Did a test update of the bios edits just to make sure it would work, repacked the .wph (using PBE 2.22) Flashed it, all is fine. Went to make all my needed corrections, rebuild the bios and flash again... WinPhlash seems to be going hairy over the version's being the same * grumble *. Anyone know how I can change this? I am so close its pissing me off, lol. Could use a bios guru's assistance on this.
OP did not post results. I, however, had the same problem with a Toshiba A135-4656. Used the winphlash from your post and it worked. SLIC 2.1 installed!
