Phoenix Bios v1.08 (10/12/08) for Medion Akoya E6210 (MD97460)

    I have been searching unsuccessfully for several weeks for this bios. The Medion help desk in Australia and Germany has been most unhelpful. Does anyone have any clues?

    Does anyone know of a program that will retreive the bios file, in full and unchanged, from my computer. I've tried Universal Bios Backup Toolkit v2 but my computer will not allow it to execute (even in Administrator mode).

    o_OMEDION laptops seems to be a big problem as they don't publish BIOS files for most Akoya models.
    I am having the same problem with my E5411 (MD97099).
    Does anyone know if a dump of the installed BIOS can be used to update to SLIC 2.1?

    Since it's a Phoenix bios, no.
