Hi! First, thank to Hazar for it's activator and thaks to pei_boy for it's Asus EEE 900HA SLIC 2.1 bios. Everything works perfectly. Now, I want to modify the bios (Phoenix) of my Toshiba (U300) laptop. Sadly, when I open the WPH file with the Phoenix Bios Editor, I got the "Wrong BCPSYS version" error message and I can do nothing in the software. Anyone has a work around? I want to update the SLIC 2.0 to a SLIC 2.1 for future W7 activation. Thanks!
I get this too, any way to get around it? I'm trying on a dell inspiron 1525 and it seems to have locked out blu-ray support by not letting the driver use ultra dma mode. So if I can fix this, perhaps I can fix the bluray issue and insert the slic 2.1 cert as well.
Hi cyan, may I have the link of the thread/post about yen's tutorial on dell-phoenix bios mod using hexeditor? I cant find it in vista section (I spent 1 hour there, but had not clue on that thread/post ) Thanks.
