The Compaq Presario SR5502SC has no BIOS updates, and no drivers, manual, or anything else on its HP support page. It has SLIC 2.0 in BIOS though. I thought it would be good to upgrade this to v.2.1 and extracted the resident BIOS to work with it. According to what is displayed at POST and in Belarq Advisor, the BIOS is: BIOS: Phoenix Technologies, LTD 5.17 04/23/2008 However, this isn't accepted by Phoenixtool198. Instead Awardtool152 accepts the ROM file as its own. Anyone have an idea why?
