    Anyone knows if it is possible to mod a Phoenix SecureCore bios?

    The bios update is a BUP (renamed zip) file that consists out of these files
    C2679_A1.OMF
    D2679_A1.OCF
    M2679_A1.OMF
    P6_INTEL.ALL
    P6_INTEL.TXT
    BupInfo.xml

    BupInfo.xml
    Code:
    <bupinfo>
    <manufacturer>Fujitsu Siemens Computers</manufacturer>
    <systemid>2679.A1</systemid>
    <biosid>Phoenix SecureCore(tm) Version 6.00 R1.11.2679.A1</biosid>
    <builddate>08-24-2009</builddate>

    I would not worry so much about it being Phoenix SecureCore Bios as it is really an INTEL Pure Bios file and cannot be modified...

    Thanks for the info, now I (and others) at least know that I'll have to go Software Loader instead of bios flash.
