    i have tried tones but i never could get used to anything else than ms photos just as i prefer ms notepad over notepad++

    For photo viewing (and simple editing), I like and use IrfanView. Imagine is also free to use, and very similar to IrfanView.

    "Photo organizing" is a different animal altogether. I don't have or take that many photos, so I don't really have a need.
