    Hi,

I am getting the following error message after I tried to install .Net framework (which is not properly installed) and the system got hanged and I restarted the system and after that not able to log-in getting the follwing error message in blue screen.

A problem has been detected & windows has been shut down to prevent damage
    to your computer.

If this is the first time you’ve seen this stop error screen, restart your
computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps.

Check to sure you have adequate disk space. If a driver is identified in the
stop message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for diver
    updates. Try changing video adapters.

Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates, disable BIOS memory
options such as caching or shadowing, restart your computer, press F8 to
select advanced options and then select safe mode.

Contact your system administrator or technical support group for further assistance.

When I managed to fix the problem by trying to reinstall windows with repair option ASR (Automatic system Recovery) option from my XP installation CD, I got the same abovementioned error message
