Which build version of Windows 11 is not an Insider release? I am asking because I am trying to evaluate if I should switch or which version I should switch to. Every version of Windows 11 I use is always a beta or a dev release and I have to enrol to have updates. I just want regular updates and nothing but. So which version of Windows 11 should I switch to?
I can see that on the list of the 22H2 link describes 22621.1105 is a regular update and not a preview one, but I found out that I can only get updates from the Dev channel, and no Security or Critical updates. I can get Defender updates though, it's just that I don't use Defender so it's a waste of space. EDIT: Should I get a Media Creation Tool for current 22H2 OSes, or should I just turn on automatic updates fully instead of just Notifying which is what I did?
I just want regular updates like Critical Updates and Security Updates. That's what I want. EDIT: @kaljukass OK, I will clarify: I want to know why any Windows version I try don't have periodic updates, hence the questions.
1st You are in the Insider Program. You must 1st leave the Insider Program to get what you want. Then expect to do a Clean Install because of the Dev. Build. .
I clean installed (for the umpteenth time) and now, if you are right, I should be out of the Insider Programme.
No learning curve to be detected here. When you already asked this in another subforum, why not do the "let me explain" stuff in there?
