Please Help me Argently my system is infected by virus. I have Updated Norton Antivirus now The Antivirus Detects 2 Viruses :- Win32.Chir.B@mm and Win32.Chir.B@enc But When Norton Antivirus Repaires the infected files the Software Installer files get Currupted. Thats why i have not Done full system Scan Otherwise my many Software Installers Will be Lost Which i have Cullected for a long time. So Please Help me how i Can Remove the Virus Without Losing my Precious Software Installers.
NO offense but Norton Anti-virus is not that good. Try using KAspersky Anti-Virus or INternet Security
Symantic Antivirius Corporate v10. works great for me. as for the viruses that are on your system.... Backup and reformat/rebuild. you should really do it every 3 months anyways, for optimal computer performance. Always format your derive into 3 partitions. 1 for the OS and any Apps that you reinstall with the OS, 1 for your Games or Applications that will restore there registry keys after the rebuild, and one for your documents and backups/etc. this way, you can format and reinstall your OS easily at any time with no data loss. all you really need to backup is your Favourites and your Mail.
proplaya is right, try using kaspersky or NOD32 norton is not that good anymore, even the corp is not that good.
