Please help me deleting a service........

    Type it like this;

    sc delete "OracleVssWriterORCL"

    Hit enter.

    when using sc ops, you need to type the service name, not the displayed name.

    I knew the display name is the service name, as it worked for the rest of the services........:p
    Any way, thanks..........
    Tell me how I'll find the service name?????

    In the services console, right click the service then click properties, note down the "Service name" shown in the window. And no, the service name is mostly NOT the displayed name.
