I have a WD external drive. There is plenty files on it, about more than 100 GB of pictures and video. Then, a family member want to backup a laptop hard disk. He then copy laptop hard disk( about 40GB) to this external drive. After he finished copying, he only saw the new files which he just copy over. All those my files which is over 100GB are gone.

Could you please help me to recover all my files? Even any portion of this 100GB is appreciated.

Please tell me any recovery software that you have experience with. This data is more important than anything. So feel free to give me those software if they are good despite their price.

    Thank you very much.

Download Partition Find & Mount You will need to access that drive from another working drive. The software will mount the lost partiton and then you can use explorer to copy the files. If the drive has been touched, you may not be able to recover.

Thanks. I'm using EASEUS data recovery wizard as the first option now. When it finished searching, it give me the option to recover my files, but they only give me the raw files. Is there any option which will give me the files within folder? As of right now, all the movie return a punch of image files (raw data). All my project return the raw files, and they are located into separate folder depending on the file type. It is impossible to put all the files together into 1 folder and make my project running such as website projects.

Is there any way that I can make recovered file under the folder where it original located? Else, everything will be useless except the picture. Even the movie return the image files, which is useless as well.

    Thank you

Thanks. I will try this one soon. Can this one recover .exe file? not the raw data file (all its component as EASEUS).
