If You don't have SATA 3 slot and also don't have option behind the option SATA Operation then is only one method, ie if You have DVD/CD drive You can try this method - replace the hard drive with SSD. If you mount the SSD drive in place of the optical drive, it'll be SATA 3G. If it also won't work, there's no other place in the system to install a hard drive. If You have slot for SATA 3, it should work and configure everything automatically.
