    Hello,

I have contacted MS Support about this problem and the last support guy told me to buy a new laptop

I have Windows 10 Pro fully updated and even tried a new hard drive with another fresh install of Windows 10 Pro and still Network Problems :( (Wired network keeps loosing connection, Wireless does the same and also the signal strength isn't all that good - My Cat 7 is 20 feet and I'm only 10 feet from my Wireless Router)

This is a HP Pavilion G7-1150us Laptop

Widows 7 hard drive in this laptop is Rock Solid

I have a Gigbit Network with Cat 7

    Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller

    Driver Provider: Realtek

    Driver Date: 8/11/2017

    Driver Version: 10.21.811.2017

    Ralink RT5390 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter

    Driver Provider: Microsoft

    Driver Date: 5/18/2015

    Driver Version: 5.0.57.0

    Thank you

One thing at a time. For ethernet:
Go to device manager > network adapters > Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller > properties > advanced tab > speed/duplex settings > and change it from "auto negotiation" to "10 Mb half duplex"
and tell me if that works or not. This is just a test to see if connectivity is fixed.
Also, go to properties in device manager for the Ralink RT5390 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter and list the hardware id.
And while you're at it list the hardware ID of the Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller.

Thank you pf100 - I'm testing going to "10 Mb half duplex" now
I will post the Hardware ID of both in a few minutes

    Thank you very much

    I will try it Sir

I really only use the wireless as a backup because of the wired connection keeps dropping (I'm not a wireless Fan)

It's realtek (or any hardware manufacturer) who is responsible to release proper drivers, not msft.

Yes I understand that, But when the free upgrade form Window 7 to Windows 10, I did and Windows 10 was using the drives from Window 7 and was rock solid - Then Windows crammed those drive above in and it went downhill (I just did the upgrade and was going to dump anyhow as I wanted a fresh not 7 to 10 upgrade)

I do again Thank y'all for your help and will update if above fixes don't work

Thank you PointZero - Yesterday it got alittle better with pf100 help, But today it is going crazy falling offline (I'm trying to take some online tests and I'm about to unleash my PTSD  )

Thank you PointZero and pf100 - Y'all Rock

I will give another update after a few to see what happens
