    Hi fellas,
I have been trying to install W8 in dual boot in EFI mode on my Acer S3 and not having much luck. My first OS Mav is already installed. I tried to install W8 second and it won't install complaining about not being able to create partition or 0xc000005 error. I finally installed it using this method: osx86.net/topic/18571-guide-add-full-gpt-boot-win-8-to-your-hackintosh-the-easy-way/
But the W8 boots ups as pro version therefore will not activate or accept my OEM bios key.
I'm using an iso called HRM_CCSA_X6.iso with a hash of: 1CE53AD5F60419CF04A715CF3233F247E48BEEC4

I think this is a Non-pro version iso but don't know why it keeps installing as pro

    Can someone offer some advice?
    Thanks in advance.

Check there is an ei.cfg file in /SOURCES folder of your .ISO! if so, delete that and try again!

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

Thank you for your help pisthai,
There isn't that file in /sources folder. But does that file matter using the dism install method?
if so, I can create one and see it that helps.
