    Sorry to dredge up a three year old thread, but is there any way to mod the 1420_A10 BIOS to permit remote power on over LAN? While I can use WOL if the machine is sleeping, the NIC gets no power if the machine is shut down. I've been mucking around for three days with this, but haven't had any luck figuring out how to edit the ROM. Maybe someone can save me the trouble and tell me it's just not possible to add this feature?
