My understanding of how VistaLoader worked was that it would install some sort of plugin for Vista's boot manager, and that plugin would execute something that would then emulate the OEM BIOS tables that Vista would look for OEM activation information in.

Well, I've come across a computer that I think has some sort of plugin in the boot manager, but it's some sort of recovery system installed by a British tech shop call TechGuy. This stupid software is causing the user quite a bit of trouble, but I can't remember where plugins for the boot manager are stored, and EasyBCD isn't showing them either.

Any information that you guys know about this type of thing would be greatly appreciated.
