I use it in conjunction with Windows show/hide tool. This way I do not really need to uncheck all the stupid hardware drivers Windows 10 forces me to install at each update check! :D

How do you make the program delete the cache after its finished?
sure I can do it manually, but I don't feel like it :D

I will now. Windows 10 update is such a big failure. It has no size, description, link to kb.

I might have to now. Windows Update was working fine, but all of a sudden updates don't want to install on my LTSB VM anymore.

Giving it a try. I used it for a little bit and this seems like the best option to get around the automatic updates.

Simple: Put the app on another drive than C. Then add this directory to CCleaner's temp folders :D

the program found three driver updates that weren't shown in the normal windows update.

i'm concerned the program is finding driver updates that are not relevent for my pc.

if they are relevant why did the normal windows update not detect them.?

Can you explain in more detail what is the best way to use this?
How to disable the Windows Updates?
Where is the option to uncheck drivers updates, is Windows Updates or this software?

Had same problem only getting to 31%. I used Internet Download Manager and pasted the go.microsoft.com link that is used by PortUp and it downloaded OK. Couldn't get any other download to work.

You used windows show / hide tool earlier?

Could be a bug. But I haven't seen it so far.

Use group policy to disable updates. Google it.

    Strange. Check your firewall. :g:

I personally don't use this, but I think it's good to have alternatives if MS are gonna continue to be annoying about their update process.
