    Thank you leebo_28,

You mean the Are Embedded Enabling Features such as EWF or FBWF included in POSReady 2009?

POSready2009_CD.iso supports FBWF in disabled mode while en_windows_embedded_posready_2009_x86_dvd_283454.iso supports EWF and FBWF?

    Am I correct?

No, POSReady 2009 is x86 only (based on NT 5.1 x86 kernel).

I think that there is no point in using anything below Windows 10 LTSB
But I needed something for old SCSI slide scanner & POS Ready 2009 was a way better option than XP

There is always a point in using something.

I still have my great but unlucky Pagescan Pro, which is a unique case of scanner provided with win95 only drivers. Even get it working on win 98 or win ME is a pain.

Given its troubled history there is no Linux driver either. in short win95 and nothin else.
