But don’t worry we are working on new builds to send out to the Windows Insiders!
That's maybe true, but: I had not changed or adjusted anything in the Registry and therefore, that explanation is nonsense in my case! If someone/something changed the Registry entry, that it's simply done by MS itself!

I'm quite fluent in German, even I learned it more than 50 years ago, that sentence: will translate to German: "Wir wissen alle lange genug das "pisthai" nicht der letzte ist welcher Faelschungen hierher bringen wuerde" and translated that English sentence to Thai means just the same that I'd posted Fakes on MDL sometimes! The culprit is the location of the word N'T (NOT) that sentence to be accusing or friendly. If he had written: "the all of us know @pisthai long enough that he would the last to bring in faked stuff though", it would had be very clear, using wouldn't just indicates that I had bring in faked stuff already! I strictly deny such and really expect that PaulDesmond will clear that and change his writing! Unfortunately, there quite some members on this forum who accusing others just for fun or whatsoever. For me such is unacceptable. For myself, I try all times to be polite and objective, not to accuse anybody in any means! But that didn't means that I'll keep my mouth shut! A rule in my life is: Not to do to others what I didn't like they do to me!

Holy Jesus! Another Preview Build on the way just for me! I think I am going to love Windows Operating System more than ever before. If this is true that we are getting another Technical Preview Build against the news of Windows blog that there is not going to be any release until next year then something interesting is happening within Redmond. Please, I am not so much conversant with the reason why the original poster is having that error when trying to download it. Has anybody looked up what that error really entails?
You are correct. Build 9901 already contains the one of the extra necessary registry keys (the one for internal builds). Since that build is intended for internal testing. And the updates on 9879 would have added the 'fbl_awesome1501' to the registry as well. So what the OP has done is legitimate and not manually changed registry keys. However, without being a Microsoft employee, we still wont have access to download the build that it is linking to. So yes, this thread probably should be closed at this point.
