Possible to have MS A/C without getting code on phone?

    Hi all,


    Is it possible to have a Microsoft account without having to give them your phone number to receive the activation code? I just wish to stay anonymous and don't wish to give my phone number and let them know my identity.o_O

    Yeah, There is a way to do that; I've been using an app called Google Authenticator (the irony) and it allows me to verify my user without them having to text mea verification code. Hope this helps!:biggrin:
