power button stays on when i shut down windows

    my computer is
    acer aspire tc-280

    this just happen in the last couple of days. no new programs added to computer.
    in power options its set to shut down

    what version of windows 10 are u running.....make sure is up to date with all the patches and reset your power option to default and see if the power bottom turns off.

    well its windows 10 1809 home 64bit. I just did the computer over and its fixed now. don't know what it was. thanks MS_user for replying

    Control Panel-->Power Options-->Choose what the power button does[left side]-->Change Settings that are currently unavailable-->untick Fast Startup
