Power management

    Just noticed that with my latest Mint install my battery nevr gets to 100%

    In Windows I get overvoltage- i.e. shock through fingerprint scanner..

    Dunno if this is built in energy mangement or a bug... if the latter, a good one IMHO.

    Hello Superfly - Is that the screenshot you intended to post? If so, it's not the place to look. You should open "Power Statistics", click the "Laptop battery" tab and scroll down to find your battery's charge level. See here:

    @Skaendo - I think it's the charger - the battery is still quite new.

    @John - same there...

    Some manufacturers like MSI actually recommend that you recalibrate your battery every 3 months or so. It's worth a shot, and it doesn't cost you a dime.

    Thanx, working now... may be built up memory or something - should perhaps let it run down to 0% occasionally.

    No Problem!

    My previous statement is flawed.
    I should have said that it doesn't cost you a dime, except for the electricity that it takes to recharge the battery.
