Hello. We all know that the problem maybe Hardware/Software problem. I tried to solve it in hardware way and software way i don't know if there was a 3rd way e.g: Bios (change the degree of high temperature) The Hardware Laptop : Toshiba satellite L305 Bios : Insyde V1.50 System : Windows 7 32 bit Processor : 2GB 64 bit The Problem: - The laptop cuts off power without warning and sometimes the screen color crashes and lag for a while then power off. Full Details: the laptop was fine till my battery broken down so i changed it with another one but not the original .. then it worked fine then after long time (month). 1) the laptop started to cut off power and shutdown (Power off) without any warning while i plug in the charger. but it was working fine on battery after long time (month) 2) it started to cut power even if it was working on the battery then. 3) i tried to change the charger with another Toshiba Charger. 4) tried to try levono xD charger ( on Toshiba laptop ). 5) Question: how could i use it again? Answer: on safe mode it works fine on safe mode even if it was plugged in. 6) tried to read on the internet about the problem people said that it was thermal problem so i opened the lap and cleaned the fan and put NH4 thermal compound. 7) tried to change the cooling fan and cleaning the heat sink. 8) tried to format PC and setup new windows 7 & 8 32/64 bits. 9) I tried to disconnect the battery and plug the power cord directly to the laptop (tried to power it on charger without battery) 10) i tried to remove battery from device manager and installing it again Important Information That may help you to find the solution: 1) it may a processor Or Heat problem why...? a) Because i found a program that makes the PC run on the windows normally by stressing the Processor and Ignore the heat it is (Aida 64 Extreme Edition). and that's when the battery power is low that let me log into the windows for 5 mins without problems and open the the program and doing stress on the processor and then plug in the charger if i didn't run the program and make stress on processor the lap will cut power that mean that i can't run windows without this program but i still can open safe mode without it The programs screenshot (stressing the processor) and check the heat : 2) It may be Sensor problem ..why? When i log into safe mode and open the program to see the temperature i saw this: Only the HDD Temperature 3) Bios Settings may help.. how? the current BIOS insydeh2o v1.5 rev: 3.0 doesn't support power options only few options about booting if we could modify the BIOS or changing the module to Control the high limit for power (increasing it) but i don't know anything about BIOS modifying so i started to search for it i found it here in that forum but i need more information about it only i could update the bios from 1.4 to 1.5 i can't use bios tools (beginner) :/ I would be very pleased if this problem if A GENIUS Solved this problem for me. HE/She will be my hero and the GENIUS OF THE FORUM!!

If you are going to be running windows 7 your request will include Slic 2.1 if it is not present .. The RWeveverything report will tell if it is present in your current Bios
but i need a help from you to find a way to reset my bios if a failure happened i don't know what shall i do use FD file or rename it to BIN? is this way possible for Toshiba satellite L305? i don't think so it is old laptop
The problem you have will not be solved with a bios mod to add slic 2.1 which you may have already (post Rweverything report) if mod was done with the same 1.5 original bios which you currently have .. If that's the case you will have to ask and read further because that will be nothing I have the knowledge to help you with
i don't want SLIC 2.1 I want to change the BIOS External settings I just want to add (POWER) to my options not only to get SLIC
