PowerEdge530 Win2012 and Dell PowerVault MD1420 - RAID not available

    pls someone can help me - i'm have a PowerEdge530 Win2012 and Dell PowerVault MD1420 - but a can't setup RAID 10 on PowerVault - "TASK NOT AVAILABLE"

    in disk managment i'm see all my 24 disk slots (but i'm have only 12 disks)

    Try it in RAID Controller BIOS

    You don't have RAID adapter attached with MD1420. The 12G SAS HBA is just external SAS interface to SAN. Consider to change it with H830 instead.

    Or if performance and reliability does not matter, use Windows software RAID.
