I've been using the "sledgehammer" script/tool to deploy updates, but it has failed as of late(something about an internal error). So my question is twofold

1.)how do you ascertain what w10 updates are necessary vs aesthetic?

2.)best method to install those updates? my w10 installation is "debloated" (I used the GitHub script , the one referenced here a lot, and Tron) so updating isnt straightforward

    thank yall

Considering the fact that CU's are cumulative and there are not really much other updates for 10 lately, SSU/CU are monthly renewed but the Flash Update and the dotntfx35-472-48 CU are not updated frequently these days, just download all you need and install them manually.

Best practice for me is to not buy into the doom and gloom spouted by every tech enthusiast website and blog and just let WU install updates when it finds them.
