After much deliberation (and windows giving me hell) I'm finally gonna take the plunge and get a macbook and an iphone next month. I have some questions that I would like to ask:

Is there a good simulator or tutorial that I can start using?

Can I get a used 16" macbook and still get the updates?

Is it safe to get a used macbook online from sites like craigslist, swappa or ebay?

Will my current WD 4TB external drive work wih a mac?

Can I use an external blu-ray burner with a mac?

Is there anything that I need to get before I buy a mac?

I'm sorry if these are silly questions. I'm clueless about macs.

  2. y need to buy a macbook even you can install macos on your existing hardware if it has atleast intel 3rd gen ivy bridge processor or above & a mobo lga1155 chipset in short intel 6 series chipset or above with a geoforce gtx 1050 ti gpu .
if these config are met with your hardware you are good to go to install mac os on your machine . just take care of either opencore of clover EFI generator . thats all.
    enjoy n have fun.

I don't know if my processor meets that standard. My HP 8200 Elite SFF has an i7-2600 in it.

  4. i am sorry to say it is not supported for Big Sur macOS but you can still install old macOS mojave.

Could you show me how to do this? I want to do this. Here are my settings:

    CPU: Intel Core i7 2600 @ 3.40GHz Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology
    RAM: 10.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3
    Motherboard: Hewlett-Packard 1495 (SOCKET 0)
    Graphics: Intel HD 2000 Graphics
    Monitor: LG V246HL (1920x1080@60Hz)
Storage: 1TB Western Digital WDC WD10EZEX-75ZF5A0 ATA Device (SATA )
    Optical Drives: HL-DT-ST BD-RE BH16NS48 ATA Device
    Audio: Realtek High Definition Audio

I probably need a new video card for better performance. Would this be good enough?

So sadly after after constant tries this didn't work, but I found a late 2009 iMac AIO for $150. So now I can learn the OS on a real mac. Thanks to all the people that replied. Judging by the looks of this OS I will be needing a lot of help from you all.

  9. purchasing very costly apple hardware just to switch m$ os to mac os i think is not a good to go.
first somebody must try it on a vm n if it fits the needs or requirements then its good to try some tweaks with intel hardware n install mac os on it as hacknitosh machine.
