prevent audio muting when switching user

    My wife and I share one computer, 2 user accounts. My pc is connected via line out to my stereo installation, music plays all the time when I'm at home. In Windows 7 when switching users, the music kept playing (foobar2000), but in Windows 8 it stops (mutes). This is annoying because my wife often logs on to check mail, etc.. Anyone knows a trick to make this work?

    Right click on toolbar and look in properties

    I solved it by using the WASAPI (Windows Audio Session API) output plugin in foobar2000
