Hi to all, my name is Agostino and this is the first post on this super forum.. my question is, there a way to block or manage the download of device drivers in Windows 10? I tried the new tools from microsoft KB3073930 but not is a solution, drivers are downloaded and only after you can disable, I tried to edit the registry keys to enable Windows Update in old Control Panel (as key) ----- [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ WindowsUpdate \ UX] "IsConvergedUpdateStackEnabled" = dword: 00000000 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ WindowsUpdate \ UX \ Settings] "UxOption" = dword: 00000000 but does not work on build 10240 Final.. ----- I tried to disable in "Device Installation Settings" "Never install driver software from windows update", but this does not work either there a way to manage in a classical way windows updates or at least the drivers automatic download? this choice of microsoft is really absurd Thanks
We actually don't know how to stop the driver downloads. They seem to download no matter what setting you put.
