    Hi,
    On some SKU's like "Pro" the Edge will auto start after a new Windows 10 installation.
    Does someone know a way to prevent this auto starting of Edge?

    1. Go to Start > Settings .

    2. Select Accounts > Sign-in options.

    3. Turn off Automatically save my restartable apps when I sign out and restart them when I sign in.

    I like this:

    Code:
    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\MicrosoftEdge\Main]
    "SyncFavoritesBetweenIEAndMicrosoftEdge"=dword:00000001
    "PreventLiveTileDataCollection"=dword:00000001
    "AllowPrelaunch"=dword:00000000

    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\MicrosoftEdge\TabPreloader]
    "PreventTabPreloading"=dword:00000001
    "AllowTabPreloading"=dword:00000000

    I tried all this options you guys posted but it has not solved the problem.
    Edge is still auto starting on the first user account login and it will also place itself on the Taskbar and Desktop. :wallhead:
    This dose not happen with the Enterprise SKU's.

    This is what happens when you install 20H2 - Edge is starting its installation. But only once.

    Then this will than also happen if Edge gets auto installed over the Windows 10 Update Center.
    In the Enterprise SKU's everything works like it should no auto install of Edge. And even if i click on Edge in the Start Menu it will not place itself on the Taskbar and Desktop.

    I think you can stop the update of Edge by Task Manager -> Startup.
