Prevent the build installation

    It is NON-STOP.

    Theoretically, stop WUAUSERV and BITS services is enough.

    But it does not necessarily stop at once - it will show update stopped, but keep downloading at background.

    The best policy is

    1. Get the ESD link while it is being downloaded
    2. Restart the PC
    3. Start WUAUSERV and BITS services

    You do not want to be controlled by MS. But MS do not want you to get in his ambition.

    I have a similar... maybe weird... question. I have disabled getting insider builds on my Win10 RTM. Today, I got message that system needs to be restarted to install updates. Ok, I did restart and WTF? It started to install new insider build. Is it normal that it f**ks up my RTM install with something I did not allowed? Is it possible to stop it and prevent it from install?
