New laptop Windows 10 onboard. How to prevent an unfortunate random undesirable upgrade to Windows 11?

Windows 11 IS NOT a mandatory update SO if you end up with Win 11, it's because YOU did it.
On Win 10 Windows Update you will see a notice about Win 11 ONLY if your PC has the Hardware to run it. Click on X in upper RT. corner to make Notice go away. Remember Win11 is optional.

    Really? Just like that?
Well being a prerequisite to upgrade to Win 11 that makes sense.

    Thanks

I hope a future update won't start nagging complaining about disabled TPM module.
See, this laptop is coming my way to be set ready to work in an engineering environment. So no surprises allowed. LoL

You might want to run disabling a security feature past the client. That counts as a surprise.

Disabling the TPM is something the client might not be OK with.

Oh, not a problem at all, I've already talked to him. He agreed. Thank you for advising.

I like this thread :) Can't be too careful, as I wouldn't wish this s**t on anyone.
