    Good to know! I'm on 8.1 right now so I might switch over to 2012/R2 once the updates end!

    You don't need to switch over. You just sideload the updates.

    You will need to manually apply it from Microsoft update catalog from the Server 2012 R2, unless abbodi can make a patch of sorts like the Vista/7 one. Any 8.0 Users out there would have to update using Server 2012 updates naturally.

    But the ESU for Server 2012 R2 won't be free just like 7 and Server 2008 R2
